They stick to a script and you can prewrite answers using the STAR method to their questions and just read them out since everything is virtual. Question banks are online. Stick to their leadershio principles and stay on topics. It felt robotic and not very personal to me so i withdrew after the phone screen but to each their own.
I got an offer in accounting but same premise. Use STAR methodology and have multiple illustrations of how your previous experiences align with what you’re interviewing for. The interview process was quite exhaustive though. I had 3 rounds - first and second were with one person each and last round was super day with 5 people. All interviews were 45 mins.
How was your offer presented? Did you have an oral conversation followed by email?
Whatever you do, don’t go work for Amazon. That place is an absolute dumpster fire right now. 😂 But… the interview process is based on their business principles and you need to tie your answers to a specific principle without actually mentioning the principle. They have a very bizarre hiring process and you will not meet your manager until after you receive an offer. Obviously, this is a ridiculous way to hire since your relationship with your direct manager is the most important thing.
There are tons of books and coaches out there. Don’t ask on here, it’s a waste of time given the troves of knowledge readily available on the internet.
What's wrong with the work environment there!
