Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?

Maybe a job is all he needs to get back to a good place
Not your place to fuck this guy over based on your thoughts about his current state. (Real or imagined) Comment on the work you did together and focus on that great guy part.
Unless you are a mental health professional it is not your place to diagnose that. Only talk about the things you have experienced personally, not about what others have told you no matter how credible it is.
Don’t ever bad mouth anyone, karma has long arms. Also you should help your fellow creatives when you can, especially if they were once “an awesome guy”.
You should still provide one, it just won’t be positive. Anyone asking for a recommendation should be sure you’re getting a good one.
Alternatively don’t give one and try to stay out of it if you can.
How do you know this about his mental health? Has he been unemployed for a while? And how long ago was it you worked with him?
I would give a recommendation, mentioning only good things that you personally experienced or know about him. We need to help people with mental illness, it’s not their fault they are like that. I’m sure this person is trying hard to do the best they can at their job
