I've been loving it. Feels like a late 00s or early 10s game. It doesn't do much but what it does: it does well. It doesn't try to be everything like many modern AAA games that end up flopping
I like this mindset, I got into the soul like genre via Nioh 2. I feel like I really deserve my wins when I get them lol like if I really strategize to beat this ominous often what-the-fuckish looking creatures that will one shot me if I don't get 10 times more skilled than them.
Actually if I think about it, Dark souls 2 was my 1st sound game when I was in HS but the tutorial boss beat my ass and kept sending me back damn near 3 hours of gameplay lol

I plan on eventually getting it!
Been playing through it kinda slowly. I’m not great but I really like the story so far. Makes me keep coming back to hard fights.

Agree. I definitely have a few favorites, but creating something out of my comfort zone / typical approach to specifically counter a situation has been so satisfying
I'm still on BG3 this has been a good run for games so far.
Honestly, I never heard about it until a friend just started talking about it. I give it a try, and the next thing I know, the sun's up, and I just got finished arguing with a squirrel. I like the freedom to approach the games objectives any way I want. I was talking to the same friend about where we were in the game, and it sounded like we're talking about different games. I recommend it if you're into the DnD style of game play. I can see someone not liking the controls as even I took a bit of time to adjust to how everything works.
Is multiplayer just limited to 3v3?
I do 1v1 till I feel like I'm good enough to play on a team lol like I see it like this. If I can play 10 rounds and win 7, I'm happy with my performance but if not. I'm just ass lol so let every time I play ac6, I will play 1 or 2 story missions then play 1v1 for 10 rounds.
Beat ng++ final ending a few days ago. Not interested in pvp but maybe if I get bored. Some fun fights but ng+ and ++ should've been harder
