Any Empower users here?

I linked my investment accounts to Empower in the last 2 days, and this morning, I got a one-time code from one of the investment sites to log in which suggests someone tried logging into that account.

Does Empower try to access linked investment accounts periodically to refresh data? Or is my linked investment account potentially compromised? I cant reach the investment account today to check cause they are closed.

Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. Ive got three interviews coming up and l am wondering how I can improve my chances of getting an offer. Any ideas are welcome. I need a new job like yesterday.

Curious for everyone’s thoughts on real-estate right now.. my spouse and I are in Denver and trying to buy our first home. To get a halfway decent 3BR home, we have to spend upwards of 500k and still put a little work/investment in to update the home.. I can’t help but feel we should be waiting for 6 more months and seeing if the price drops.. Hey all, I’ve recently joined EY consulting from another Big 4 and have noticed there’s no discipline (at least in my team) around codes and charging time. People either charge a standard 7 hrs or some will charge time spent on internal activities to their client code.

I was told that “the last person to charge their actual hours worked was promptly booted off the project”.
Just wondering:
1) Is this a general cultural point accross all Consulting teams? Will challengin this get me in trouble?

For the past 2-3 years, I have obsessively tracked my net worth/income trends/investment performance over time. I consolidated grad loans in ‘15, kept federal separate from private (w SoFi @6.75%). Can I refinance w SoFi or w Earnest? Should I combine the federal and lose the protections for better %?

My monthly salary is around $6.4k after-tax. Living in NYC. Do you think it’s reasonable that I pay:
- about $1.5k on rent
- about $500 on utilities and subscriptions
- about $900 on student loan
- about $2k on food and etc.
My saving goals is around $3k so been trying to adjust my monthly spending.

What is your savings rate for the year?
I am saving 66% of my take home pay and I’m pretty satisfied with it.
