I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.

It's been a week that I got onboarded in iqvia but still haven't received laptop and no sign of work getting started. I am bored, demoralized and regretting not joining Deloitte now. I have worked at accenture and then deloitte in consulting domain in project management roles. Observed that in both orgs bulk of the assignments are project management related. Is this the norm in our consulting domain? Are engagements eg process optimization, business process design etc hard yo come by and if so how best to qualify for these roles instead of getting pushed in project management roles???
