A lot of below recos are around behavioral psychology / org behavior driven. Not sure if that's what you are asking for but here you go . . . .Drive by Dan pink. Nudge by Robert thaler. Flow by mihalyi cziksentmihalyi. Mindset by Carol dweck. Grit by Angela duckworth. Smarter faster better and the power of habit by Charles duhigg. Peak: Secrets from the New Science of Expertise – Anders Ericsson
Essentialism by Greg McKeown. The war of art by Steven pressfield. A mind for numbers by Barbara Oakley.
Deep Work – Cal Newport.
So Good they can’t ignore you – Cal Newport.

Suggest you watch their TED talks/a youtube book summary to find if the premise interests you. I'm trying to consciously do this as well.

Would you say summaries are as effective for self help books like "the subtle art of giving a fk" and other similar books? I feel the books themselves ramble on too much on a side story only to tell a point that could be summed up in a couple sentences.

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are in our late 20s, have $35k in cash savings and a household income for $120k.

Currently our rent is $2,500 and we’re kinda tired of renting and would love to buy if we could as we have a kid on the way.

With all that said, what would you guys say is our best path to home ownership (if we aren’t completely priced out already)?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

MBB Interviewers: I know the bar & I’m not there. Would it be terrible to tell those who’ve offered to refer me (lateral hire) that I’d want to wait until 2021 to interview? Friends say I’m crazy & that they don’t see any lateral hiring in Jan-March, but my understanding was most MBBs hire year round (pre-MBA). The thought of waiting another year to re-apply is scary. Please help!

Many thanks.
