Is there irony in the fact that HR and leadership of sales organizations ghost candidates? The very people that stress over prospects disappearing turn around and do the same thing to people they've interviewed 2, 3, or more times.

This is brutal.

Has anyone turned down an opportunity for their dream job to stay at a company where they’ve built a solid brand and reputation?
Find myself at a crossroads . I have an offer for a role in PE but I would be giving up $20-30K in comp just to take the opportunity. I have a lot of senior backing here in my current role in finance , and there could be some additional runway. In my 30s , just wondering if anyone has encountered a similar dilemma. What would you do?
