Not necessarily, but it helps. If you aren’t, look for intelligence analyst roles. If you don’t have a clearance the opportunities aren’t as numerous but they exist. You just won’t be working on an NSA account straight out of the gate. More likely support for DHS, Treasury, or unclassified/open source DoD.
