Are there any good movies or novels that show skill development - like follow through? Self-management? Money management? I read a lot of self help books so I know a lot of the theory, and books peppered with examples help, but I feel like most 1 paragraph examples don’t five justice to how hard it may be to change a behavior.

My teammate is leaving for a new opportunity soon and I will be floating by myself for a few months. Would anyone be able to provide me with any solid books that pertain to our field? I'm open to anything for creative, people manager 101, digital marketing, career motivating, etc. Trying to swim along to find my new normal and be self motivated.
Looking for book recommendations; any favorites? Interested in both fiction and educational/self-improvement (for example, investment / finance books, time management, etc). I feel my vocab is...
I am in process of buying a Lincoln book. About 500k in revenue. We used a third party to value it, Key Management Group. They produce great reports on the practice you're looking at acquiring
I was asked by a friend for a few management consultant books (similar to liar's poker in the finance industry) to check out. The only one I can think of is Peter Drucker's Adventures of a Bystander (good but not too much consulting)... any suggestions! 😁
What are the best approaches you have used for stress management? Any recommendations on books and best meditation videos on YouTube or purchased?

Further confirmation why Accenture Strategy sucks. Leadership just announced $4K “raise” for M and SM to “close gap” vs market pay. After lousy raise and bonus in Fall, this is a slap across the face!
Absolutely hate consulting and been at it for 8 years. Decided to stay for various reasons - immigration, lack of good offers etc. But so glad that I didn’t take up any of those marginally better offers that were trying to shortchange me. Finally exiting to a opportunity that I always dreamt of. Takeaway: focus on what you really want and keep trying

Are annual physical exams necessary for young people? I am 27M, exercise nearly everyday, eat clean, don't smoke/drink, healthy weight, no medical conditions. My last doctor at the prior check-up was surprised that I was even doing an annual physical exam. Curious on others' experiences with this. TIA!
Waiting to board my flight and look over to find another guy wearing the same exact outfit 🤦♂️
For those, who are immigrants, what made you stay in New York? Would be especially interested to hear from those who didn’t come for economical reasons. I am told the excitement about the city wears off 😅 I am European, just came 2 years ago and am still loving it, but also start to wonder if staying in a job I don’t like it’s all worth it (I am on L1 visa, so no way to find a new job). Life in Europe isn’t too bad either.
