You should network with people who do M&A and build a relationship. It's a transaction driven business and knowing people helps. That'll be the best long term investment. Everything else learn on job
Thanks!

http://edu.nacva.com/2015_Training_Materials/BVTC/2015v1/Syllabus/FTT_2015v1.pdf
Idk about guru but I would imagine WSO technical interview guide, mergers & inquisitions 400 IB interview questions, reading up on m&a deals, and wall street prep or other sources for learning financial modeling would be a good start to pivoting along with networking
I second this. I love M&A
I'm trying to get into M&A as well. I'm on the bench right now in FDD.
any of these books

very weary of anyone who says to not read books
Excel lol
Are you saying you are pivoting and need to learn or that you’re interested in pivoting?
And I am seeking reading material to be a soccer guru 🤣
@consultant before you take my humor in a wrong way, what I am trying to imply just like others is, talk to folks in m&a practice. Learn ground reality from practitioners by networking.
Courses by chris haroun and other top rated courses on udemy are good modeling and information source✌🏻
