I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.

Hey folks - I have an inquiry on my credit for a gym membership I “failed to cancel”. I had previously left this gym as it closed during pandemic, and shifted to a new location. In doing so, I informed the gym I would be leaving. However, I recently checked my credit and saw that my membership had not been cancelled and had been sent to collections (prompting an inquiry and dropping my score).

I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.

(See wheresspot for thread) While I hope be didn't contract Covid on either of the 2 sets mentioned prior to his illness and death, if it comes back that he did, we need to have a long hard chat about what went wrong. Condolences to his family. Truly horrible news.

My wife is around 3 months pregnant. Doctor has recommended Irospan. And my insurance says they don’t cover it. And it is coming aroun 695$ without insurance, I found good Rx coupon which comes around 200$. Does anyone have better suggestions to check for coupons? Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

Just started studying for audit and there’s a small section about intro to excel/data prep in excel and was wondering if this was part of the new material change? Just wanna know if I can skip this section. Thanks!

Oh my god. I am finally done with the CPA. It took me 5 years and I failed so many times, lost credit, spent thousands of dollars on different study materials, coffees, pens, etc. I can’t believe this day has finally come for me. If you’re struggling please don’t give up and don’t compare yourself to someone else. It will eventually happen for you if you keep pushing!

i failed for the fifth time on AUD. Somehow I went from a 67 to a 63. I am so pissed because now I have to retake BEC as well. Help! Any tips or words of wisdom appreciated.

Best course of action with BEC? Using Becker and the first two chapters are terrible...

Do you think that I will get job offers after I pass the CPA exam? Not one compony will even give me a chance because I don’t have experience, even though I have passed some of the exams already.

I took FAR in Aug and AUD last week. Didn’t pass FAR and feeling like I may have passed AUD. My original NTS for them runs out on dec 18. If I get a new NTS for one of them to take before busy season do I have to wait to take it until after my original NTS runs out?

Does anyone know if they suspend the fee for pushing back an exam? My exam is on Friday and I want to push it back by two weeks and it says zero fees, but I want to take a mock tomorrow to make sure I want to push it back and I don’t want to pay a fee since it’s 3 days before

I passed my exam and need an experience certificate from my former employer but they want me to send over a state application form which they would fill out but Massachusetts does not have ang such form.
