It’s getting pretty hard on most carriers. If the reason is just that your schedule changed, you’re probably going to be paying it. If they changed your flight schedule by more than an hour or so since booking, that is your best bet for a fee waiver.

Just call and ask. I was able to get around it this week because they had schedule changes.

I've been able to change without change fees when citing surgery, court dates, or a wedding. You can try that (all of those were true).

Call in a bomb threat? Got me out of a physics test one time idk
