Anyone here from EY Tysons Corner (Assurance Service Line) want to tell me about the firm culture, is it a great learning environment, client base? I got an offer for Senior 1 but want to be sure I’m making the right decision to go Big 4 or jump down to mid-tier. SN: I started at a smaller National firm but left years ago for industry so I’ll be coming in somewhat starting from square 1 but at a senior 1 level.
What do you do when the client starts to think you're also their personal assistant? Is this common behavior?
IMO Great editing/production companies in Atlanta. Under 20k budget (this is client work, not AMC folks) and GO:

I have a client who only wants to use MS Teams to communicate to us. It is a nightmare for many reasons but not sure how to stop this.
McKinsey & Company Seoul office, any insights? Curious on the overall size, culture, types of work / client base, et cetera. Thanks
You cannot tie WLB to the company. It is project dependent! A big company will always have projects with both good WLB and bad, but I think it’s never tied to the company. Agree or disagree?
My firm is virtual - all work done remotely in home office unless on client site. Haven’t traveled since mid October. It’s driving me nuts. What do you recommend doing?
Anyone looking for SAP Project Managers, I am just finishing up a 3 year Greenfield S4 HANA implementation focused on project delivery. Please PM me for details
On a federal project and the greatest challenge by far is dealing with the lowest cost technically acceptable contractors. The government just throws away money because they won't pay for good people
Return I’m working in is hedge fund, new client/1st year , in kind contributions, sec 1256 (which I’m not sure I’m totally understanding), organizational costs ect. Receive 40 correction points back. I am a Project manager for a cloud computing firm in India. I want to settle in Canada. What are my options? I would apply for the PR this year, but how do I find a job in Canada? Or should I try an internal transfer, would it be easier?

I'm on a reporting team with a Manager who doesn't manage strategically. He says "yes" to everything, doesn't keep meetings on track with client and SM, doesn't own anything but agrees to

My H1-b transfer has been initiated via premium processing. I won't quit until I get my approval, but I'd like to give my current employer some notice. Am I allowed to continue working for my current employer after approval (during notice period), or is that considered an immigration violation?
Anyone find it suspect when some Partners throw around "I'm sure we all would prefer to be in person..." type things? Like do you hate your family or something? Maybe I'm getting to used to remote work 😬
I can't stop being angry and disappointed in myself. I'm on PTO and decided to take care a few of the household chores. I multi-task all of the time and can't help it. I forgot that I turned on the water to fill up the ultility sink in the basement and ran back upstairs to do something else. We have an AMAZING nanny - we adore her and she is so great with our child. We are just using her for 6 months while we wait for our daughter to get into a nursery program. We didn’t talk about this up front - but, typically, what do you do in these situations for vacation/holidays? If she goes on vacation, do we still pay her for those days? If we go on vacation, do we still pay her for those days (supposing we give plenty of heads up)?

What are most 2nd and 3rd year litigation associates at small/boutique sized firms making in the SF Bay Area? Helpful if you specify defense/plaintiff side, base salary, benefits, bonus, billable requirements, and would also be interested to know gender/ethnicity (for pay-gap purposes) if comfortable sharing. Asking because I think this kind of (anonymous) transparency helps us all in advocating for fair compensation for ourselves.
