Any tips on how to promote your brand on different social platforms? I'm familiar with LinkedIn and Facebook but how about Reddit and Twitter?

You need to have a thorough plan first. Next, you have to choose the right social media networks. Make sure you do your research first about the platform before using it to promote your brand.

You can reach a lot of people through Twitter, that's for sure. But of course, you need to be strategic. Always use your branded hashtags and cross-promote on other social media sites.

Reddit and Twitter are great sites too. You can run Reddit ads if you want. Do not forget to plan your content in advance.

Understand your target audience. That's the number one tip in order for you to be able to promote your brand effectively. To find your audience, take a look at your current buyers and understand who they are.

Tag your products in your posts. You can also run a contest to get your brand in front of a lot of people. And of course, the most important is to work with influencers.

Choose the right platforms for you. We don't use Reddit and Twitter. Based on our records, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok got the highest interaction and sales from all over the world.

Been working on mostly (about 70%) public sector policy and strategy at Big 4 for most of my career. Often go up against MBB on RFPs and have a decent win rate. Would I be too senior to come in as a lateral hire? I guess it’s all about client networks at this level, and being government, it’s locationally dependent - so which markets have need?

Gay man who works in a large org that is big on diversity and inclusion efforts. I’d say about 50-60% of people (at all levels, across all age groups and races) list their gender pronouns in email signature. I list mine because I see it as a way to show support for colleagues who may not be cisgender. If anyone else works in the same type of environment, do you infer anything about colleagues who choose not to list their gender pronouns? (such as they are homo/trans phobic?)

Graduated in 2020, wanted to be a graphic designer, took a job at a startup in a social media role. The boss called me the "r" word for not handling entire 13-ish accounts roster well by myself. I quit. Found a role as social media specialist. Realized (again) that I hate social media. Moved to in-house mktg manager, only to be a glorified graphic designer / someone to call the city to cut down trees. I job hopped too much, I feel my portfolio is empty. How do I restart again? I feel defeated.
