Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Take it one day at a time. Focus on finding a new routine in this alternate universe we are living in. Make your “commute” one walk around your block to start and end the day. Keep showering on your usual schedule. Start, or beef up, an emergency fund of cash on hand just in case. Buy a good book to read or start a new show so you’re not endlessly staring at your work email all hours of the day. Start a work out routine if you don’t have one already. Text your friends and family regularly to remind them you’re okay and that you love them. We will get through this.
