Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?

Ok NOW I can finally say I passed all four parts of the CPA exam. So I used to work for a company where my job was good, was a director of business solutions for a fashion brand. Only issue was that the CFO micromanaged and ended up leaving. My background is digital transformation however I took an infrastructure position to rebuild a provincial healthcare system. My temp contract has been extended. I’m relieved to be able to pay the bills, but after giving 70-80 shots a day, I literally dream about giving vaccines almost every night! Struggling to keep positive about finding a new permanent job - I was laid off at the end of April, have applied to over 60 jobs, had 6 interviews, and no offers. I can’t go back to chain retail - it damn near broke me in my 20’s, and it’s much worse now.

Walgreens offered 50K sign on bonus and I asked for 10K extra to accept offer and move to another city for 2 years. They accepted my request.
Starting pay is $55.05/hr though. From your experience, is this a good offer? Is it worth taking?

I have worked in four different types of pharmacy and I don’t really like anything so far. I don’t know what to do anymore. Right now I don’t feel like I can do any of these jobs forever. The types I have worked in are:hospital (pediatrics ), retail, specialty and a call center.

a few weeks ago we had a super busy day with scripts and i think i went into ‘autopilot’ because i don’t remember it happening, but i handed out the wrong prescription to someone (before you get mad, i only started a few weeks ago and i’m a junior assistant), out of all people i could’ve given the wrong medication to, it was a blind person. i have severe anxiety already and want to know some tactics to go back to work without guilt? i take guilt very heavy and struggle to get past it all
