Idk but I'd recommend it! Started doing some Hyatt this last quarter and have enjoyed it. Planning to do more next year and then use the points for some sweet all inclusives in the Caribbean
Hyatt is much better than Marriott. Was able to hit globalist last year through a double night promo + getting the credit card.

Highly recommend Hyatt. I would get the Chase Hyatt credit card. It gives you the entry level status and an annual free night so the card pays for itself

No fast track options with Hyatt (other than credit card). I recommend Hyatt over the others still anyway, but they're notoriously Grinchy about status matches / challenges. They do it with MGM and have benefits with American airlines, but will just tell you no for other chains like Marriott, Hilton, etc.
However, people have (rarely) still been and to call a rep and talk them into granting a challenge or match.
For me, I talked to an individual sales manager of a popular downtown Chicago Hyatt property and told them I was thinking of staying there exclusively for a year and they preemptively granted me Globalist status, gave me some free points, and some upgrade awards, etc. I would have hit that status quickly staying there anyway, but it was extremely nice to be gifted it all before my first stay so that points accumulated much faster from the start.
