Anyone else tired of having to call various pharmacies every single month to see who has their meds in stock? It’s something I start to dread about five days before I actually need to start calling and a constant stressor in the back of my head at all times. I’m also terrified of my shrink retiring and having to go through the whole song and dance with a new doc.

I enjoy it

Kind of like hunting for deer but instead it's more urban and it's for meds

Apt analogy, in that after three years on meds, I now wonder how I survived beforehand (answer: not well), and if I were a woodland sprite and had been surviving on random forest plants and finally came across a dead deer, I’d wonder how I had been surviving before that without any protein.

Glad I'm not Adderall that sounds painful. Had to do that back in the days I still took Focalin. Hope the shortage resolves soon.

like

That's unfortunate. Glad I'm on a more obscure one.

It is the worst!!
Every single month!
One time though, a primary care physician of mine (who I also worked for while going to school) would prescribe me a 3-month supply via mail order. I never had the issue then.
I see a psych now, and have to change again (moving location), and I brought this up and they thought it was absurd and trust me less.

For some reason, providers are so paranoid/weird about it. Probably because it’s controlled, but come on now! What am I going to do? Sell it? Gtfo - I need it. I wish I could save them, but I use them daily.

Rant over

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
