i tried :( they said i have to learn to deal with this. which I get, but the client gets at my sense of worth, which never used to waver. it’s not just about deliverables, it’s about the fact that I don’t listen to their feedback, Im not timely, Im going over their heads. which isn’t true! manager acknowledges Im not in the wrong, but nothing changes. no conversations to address this - no managers on call with me during client calls - i just have to absorb the shit, relay it to my manager, and then he tells me how to respond. it’s just not a good fit but im really trying hard to address their needs and I care about the quality of my work

A much wiser move would be to network your way off the engagement. Get pulled onto something you’re more interested in by a Partner or SM with enough juice to make a horse trade.

Yes, I used to expense upwards of $100 a day to expenses to get reprimanded and would try as much as possible to not be onsite. Even at my worst they still appreciated my service, was there for 2 years.
