For my pcos ladies on metformin, interesting news article. Be careful out there. The good news I hear is that metformin leaves the body pretty quickly so in 2 days you won't have it in you anymore. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/victoriaforster/2020/04/05/researchers-warn-that-covid-19-treatment-t

It was outpatient surgery that lasted all of 45 minutes. He was a bit sensitive in that area for a while, but other than that no real pain afterwards. He was also young enough to not remember or be bothered by it.
He did.have trouble coming out of the anesthesia. I think they call it emergence. Just a bit disoriented, but nothing else.
My son had it. Luckily it was very minor. It was corrected with a short surgery when he was about a year old. Make sure you are seeing a pediatric urologist and not just a general surgeon. We were lucky enough to have a doctor that for the most part developed the surgical techniques for this condition.
My son also ended up requiring two minor surgeries for undescended testicles as he got older. While not directly related, it is always good to have checked.
Ever since the surgeries he has had no difficulties or complications. Other than some tiny surgical scars, which you can't really see anymore, you can't tell he had the surgeries.
Thanks A1 that’s good to know. How was your songs recovery from it? My son has to go through something similar so just curious as to what to expect
What do you mean by having trouble coming out of the anesthesia? Just like sleepy and disoriented or was something wrong? My wife’s worried about the anesthesia part
Just disoriented. It only happened once, never in any of his other surgeries.
Good to hear, thanks A1, really appreciate it
