Anyone had any experience of SAGE Employee Benefits pack to run along side of our payroll. I'm very undecided as to whether our employees would actually use any of the discounts and benefits Sage are offering..... SAGE are bombarding me with sales calls

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. I don’t want to miss the right person because of my bias, so im wondering how many healthcare related AMs have healthcare/clinical experience… thanks in advance!

Just accepted an offer with a psych startup. Not exactly the offer I was hoping for as I’m taking a slight pay cut ($73/hr) and it’s a 1099 position. I keep getting stuck on the 1099 piece because I’ll be working 40 hrs/wk, but have been told I’m not eligible to be a W2 employee. Needless to say, no benefits whatsoever. They don’t even provide a computer or any other remote equipment for the completely remote position. Am I making a mistake? Also, can anyone chime in about being a 1099 employee?

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?

Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. How do you find a new opportunity after 1 month? What do you put on your resume to avoid immediate rejection? Left a solid long term SR managing role for a more JR sole contributor position because of hiring attorney vision of what we can do together and more money. Less then week into role hiring attorney is gone. Still have the salary increase but am seeing all the reason he (and others) are leaving. Respected company but legal department has issues and no program for promotion.

I got an offer from X company with a 45% hike and my current company manager matched that offer instantly. Now company X offered me another 45% hike which is a total of 90%hike. Scenario, interviewing a candidate that has great experience for the role however candidate has a lot of tattoos. Nothing crazy or derogatory, would you pass on him/her? Not a customer service job either. Specially manufacturing…. Have you ever passed on a candidate because of tattoos?

I am currently unemployed (but looking) an opportunity to consult has potentially fallen into my lap. Before I shut it down for a lack of experience, I want to know if it's something that I can even do. It's a very very small company, not even 3 FTE. But they are looking for someone to come in, create a Handbook(I can do that), provide benefits, etc.

Is that difficult to implement? I can't imagine it being so, but I don't want to set myself up to fail.

I was called into HR because a coworker overheard a conversation between me and another colleague taking about cable/streaming shows that we watched or recorded. I mentioned that I recorded a few true-crime shows. My colleague jokingly said, "I hope I'm not on your hit-list!". I replied, "Not anymore." HR pulled me in to say a coworker complained about me talking about hit-lists, and they were now scared. HR wouldn't say who complained, so do I have a right to ask about the resolution to this?
