How is the work life balance in cognizant ?
I have 12+ yoe. I work in AWS with a 23L base, 13L JB and 5 RSU (29.8L ), L4. I am about to receive an offer from ADP . What band/grade would be great to negotiate. For ADP anything around 45L-48L including 12% variable (not sure about JB) is considered to be the right offer? I have another offer from Accenture 32L fixed, 10L variable, 6.4L JB. I guess wlb in Accenture would be more difficult than ADB?? What's your view fishes !!! Consider AWS and ADP in Hyderabad where Accenture in home town
Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

When I've had problems with that I try to set up a boundary in my head between work and my own time. It can help to do the same thing every day when the workday ends, listen to music, take a walk, play with the dog, and so on. The idea is just to transition into your own time. It's also good to stop talking about work when you're not there if that's a problem. Just telling a story to a friend or spouse can put us back in work mode when we should enjoy "at home" mode.
I try to unplug when I'm not working, it helps me to not be tempted to check my work email or messages and instead just focus on myself and do things that bring me joy. I typically try to go to workout classes or get out of the house for a bit to distract my mind and it really does help a lot.

Thanks so much for these tips.
I really had the same problem. Would even wake up at night and think about specific things I had to do or didn't do. I started going getting facials and an occasional massage to relax. I really think it is anxiety/stress causing this for healthcare workers. Tried to pay attention to my eating, amount of time sleeping, etc. I also make sure I take my PTO. Don't accumulate it and carry it over to the following year. Your coworkers will make due without you. Mind you it isn't perfect but it has helped quite a bit.
Remember this... on your death bed, or at your funeral, nobody from your job is going to show up and say how great a worker you were or how much you sacrificed for your job. Your friends and family may speak about how much you worked, but likely not in a positive manner.
To get the rumination out, keep a notebook handy and jot down the things you need to follow up on when you return to work the next work day. Banish those thoughts to the paper.
Also, instituting a ritual between leaving work and arriving home to signify the shift for your brain could be helpful. Some people leave their work badge in their car, or change their shoes either at their office or as soon as they get home. Change your clothes. Something that makes sense to you.
