How realistic is it to think of a pivot from sales (GCS) to marketing as an L2? Should I start the process now or wait until L3? (Apparently a lot of people want this but nobody talks about it so insights are welcome)

Which career level and salary package to expect for a candidate with 5YOE in ITES Operations? Can I get a team lead position without prior experience? I have assisted team leads in handling new joiner orientation and other programmes.

I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. I know it will initially be a step back in comp but is it at all realistic for a person with certificate level experience in data analysis but a decent marketing management background to expect $150-200k comp or is that mostly for degreed candidates (or not realistic at all)? Any guidance here is greatly appreciated.

course. It is costing me around 30000 for Normal self study and 70000 for
full immersion/premium pack. (I don't
know about the placement assistance but need it so that he can get placed as he is a 2020 grad)
Is this course worth buying or anyone

Any thoughts around how to use M&A tax skills for the better good? I’m a CPA and originally got into this for a stable / interesting job, but in the long-term I’d like to do something that either influences drafting of tax legislation or helps the public (however naive that may sound). Perhaps I’ve gotten too introspective during the pandemic. Don’t really want to go back for a JD and aside from keeping a roof over my head I’m not very motivated by money. What are your thoughts on the Scrum Master role? I’ve worked with a few now and out of 5 of them, only 1 seemed to be of any help. Most of the time we have to explain every detail multiple times and they still don’t understand what we’re doing. I feel that the role should be reserved for employees with experience in the systems they work in.

How useful is having worked with the PE practice (deal strategy, CDDs, etc.) of a consulting firm vs any other one when trying to break into PE? I understand it's probably better to come from such units but I wanted to understand in which ways it helps. Is it actually irreplaceable skills vs understanding of sector dynamics vs pure prestige?

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
