I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.

I am working as data engineer at Accenture with 2 YOE with ctc of 11LPA. After clearing all the technical rounds at Impetus technologies, tomorrow I have my HR discussion. Have a friend who works there. Comp model is very confusing - lower base and bonuses for travel, etc. Said it took her a few years to figure it out.
I'm looking at an offer with them for a specific client account (i was solicited). Was extremely skeptical, but they've gotten the client to agree to a billing rate which will yield me a ~75% increase in salary for the next year+. And...the work looks to be very exciting! Sure, you lose a lot of benefits/PTO, but that's impossible to pass up.
First world problems: now I have to scowl at that 33% tax bracket
