Have you tried any mobility programmes to strengthen it? I’ll dig out a link for one I’ve used and really helped with general flexibility and mobility.

I struggled with shoulder pain a couple of years ago and it was mainly due to bad form and overplaying. I highly recommend you visit you rest for a week or two and visit your doctor (just in case it’s serious)x Also recommend taking a lesson and telling your instructor where you experience pain. Bad form and/or poor stretching can invite lots of shoulder pain. I now play ~5 times a week and have no issues with injuries.
Know this is a bit late, but I just found this bowl. I tore my labrum in my right shoulder, but still played golf. Think this led to me overcompensating with my left and developed serious pain (even more than my right). What worked for me was taking some time off to rest it, and rehabbing both shoulders using something called the rotatoreliever. Was very skeptical, but figured it was easier than opting for surgery (actual rehab wasn’t working). Both shoulders feel great right now.
