Say I secured a new position for myself. And say the start date of that position would make my 2 weeks notice stretch back into Christmas break. If I was to leave the firm before the break they’d let me go immediately. But if I quit over the break there’s no way they shit can me right then and there do they? What are the pros and cons of switching from audit to advisory (any area of advisory)? Currently in the B4 and realizing I do not see myself staying in audit past my senior promo. Would much rather be creating value and ideas to improve and solve client issues

Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?
