Currently working at Citi (C10). Would be completing 18months by Feb'23.

1-Can I directly apply for IJP 2-3 week's prior or do I need to serve notice in my current project?
2- Also can I apply directly for C12 level if required YOE is matching?
3- Within IJP can I apply for outside India?
4- What would be ideal appraisal % I can expect considering team size is small and best performer in my current project.

Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale. I’m stuck in my old pay scale but have gotten promotions and raises quickly with more on the horizon. A recruiter reached out with a new role for 2-2.5x more than I currently make doing something similar. I love my company and the people I work with but the money isn’t there. Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
