I moved from B4 audit to FDD, very happy with the move. Feel free to dm me with questions

like

Worth the move for sure. Hate audit lol. But it might depend on your life style. Audit is more predictable and easy compared to FDD with unpredictable schedule and more analytical which is more stressful

like

Absolutely worth it

like

DM me if you are interested in a MM referral.

Worth it for sure 💯

Worth it. Definitely more demanding though

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
