Anyone love their home office chair? My back hurts.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

Wife is 35 weeks pregnant and recently tested positive for Covid. Symptoms are mild to moderate. Doctor’s say no impact to baby if symptoms continue to remain under control. We are vaxed and boosted so not as worried about our recovery. More worried about the baby at this point. Anyone with similar experiences to share? TIA

I broke my foot a few weeks ago and sitting at my desk in a cast is incredibly uncomfortable still. But, the work I do can’t really be done from the couch as there is too much paperwork involved that I prefer to physically spread out. I am a true solo. So, I am my only accountability. The issue I am having is managing volume. I have about 150 active files some pre-lit and the rest are in litigation. Cases range in value from very small to low six figures. I also take the driver seat for the grunt work on the firms bigger cases which are at or near 7 figure value. I constantly feel (cont.)

Hey all ... i do PI litigation but i have a passion to help businesses with acquistions, business transactions (specific to dental and medical acquistions and sales), real estate transactions/estate planning. I know there are real estate transaction firms, estate firms, and corporate transaction firms...but i guess from being in the PI world so long (only 4 years) i do not even know what type of firms could possible encompass most or all types of the areas i want to be. Any help is appreciated.

Rising 2nd year here: been rethinking my choice as an M&A attorney. I've had a rough go of it over the first year-and-a-half of practice and am thinking about moving to a different practice area. I'd like to stay on the transactional side, but am not quite sure what areas I can leverage my corporate and M&A skills in. I was thinking T&E (i.e. business succession planning, etc.)
