I have an offer to start a career as FA or FR for NY LIFE. This would be my first time as a FA. What would be your advise? Should I go this independent track (just commissions) to start with OR should I go for a support track (like client service, associate, para planner, etc?) for another firm? Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well

Would love to hear “ignore this, definitely do that” sorts of advice if possible. Apologies if this is repetitive, but here for some inspiration stories… I prepped hard for the first (phone interview) McK 30-min evaluative case study (Digital Associate role) but failed it cause I couldn’t calm my nerves… is it realistic to hope that with more hard work, I can at least make it to the final rounds next time round? Any tips to not be anxious for a phone interview?
