Anyone who has made the switch from FDD to FP&A: Is FP&A easier to learn at the financial analyst level? I’m a 2nd year associate in FDD and struggling to pick things up quickly to the point where its a 50/50 whether I get promoted to Sr I’ve been told. How would FDD at a company such as Houlihan Lokey differ from at a Big4?

Saw some people from EY TAS change their titles to Strategy and Transactions on LinkedIn. Is this just a fancy name change the group did or are EY TAS folks now doing strategy work in addition to the typical FDD work ?
