Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.

Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

I've applied to many roles at Google over 6 months of unemployment and all, but one quietly moved to "not proceeding." I wouldn't get too excited about the role until you hear from a recruiter. They get millions of applications each year and roughly 1% get to the recruiter screen.
Don't worry too much about having every technical answer. Companies like Google often care just as much about how you approach ambiguity, communicate ideas, and learn from feedback. Good luck would be interested to hear how the process goes.
