Following. I’m having the same experience also.
Did you apply with a referral or on your own. ?

Can refer you at pwc if that’s what you need
Bhai itna bhi kya entitlement. Every firm has different process and some take more time to evaluate candidates. And this varies by offering and roles, so not sure generalizing them on such forums serves any objective than just feeling better by complaining about something.
Some of the reasons that could explain. There is a huge disconnect between the team sourcing resume and team giving offers. So at times the job posting will stay live long after the position is filled and there is no one on the other side of where resume is submitted. Many firms have a hard cool off after rejection. So if you are rejected, they cant consider you for another role until that time, many times folks like the profile but the job opening has closed. Teams anticipate a similar role opening up in near future and they don't want to loose out on a good candidate just because of the cool off period. In some cases the person doing the screening is too busy (at times it takes more than a month) or if selected the interview panel is not available or they are waiting for a critical mass before they can do a sprint of interviewing lots of candidates on a single day. So if a Big4 has not responded yet, it could be any of those reasons. Hope this helps.
I even got interviewed with McKinsey for similar roles, and got an offer from EY (who falled appart after realising they aren't actually looking for someone at my level lol)

I’ve had the same experience multiple times getting automatically rejected from PWC
So I think a referral is key to getting your resume picked up. I typically don’t apply to jobs unless I have one. Also check the posting date, a lot of reqs sit a while.
