Starting the interview process with Accenture, border between analyst and consultant. What would salaries look like? Also, what about benefits, vacation, etc.?
As a heads up. If any of you are interviewing at Facebook and were planning to leverage their offer to negotiate at another company, they will recall their emails to you with any offer information as soon as they think it’s a no. I told them I was not interested 2 hours ago because it was an exploding offer (even though I haven’t finished negotiating my other offers), and the email is already gone. Thankfully I took a screenshot as soon as I got it.
Rejected from a couple more roles today, bringing the total to 20+ in the last few months. I’ve interviewed at 5-6, and one is still active. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

I have a pending I-485 and my case was recently “ready to be scheduled for an interview” about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t traveled to my home country for 3 years and was looking forward to going this December … I have a valid H1b that expires in 2023 and would need to get it stamped. There are appts available in my home country. However I don’t have AP (did not apply due to valid H1b). Is there any risk to my GC application if I travel abroad and get a H1b stamp to re-enter the US?

Thoughts on quitting during parental leave?
I’ve been asked to weigh in on how to improve my firms parental leave policy. It’s currently 8 weeks paid for birth parent with an extra week for each year at the firm (up to 12 weeks total) and 2 weeks paid for non-birth parent. I’m in a major city, firm is a boutique that has been around a very long time. What would you suggest? Any studies or research you’ve seen recently on trends in parental leave policies also helpful. I’d like to have some sort of data to back up what I recommend. TIA!
I hardly ever log on to skype for business and it feels like I’m the only staff in my office that isn’t always chatting with people throughout the day. Anyone else? Could this be seen as a bad thing?
My parents are coming from India in a few weeks. Any recommendations on a good health insurance policy for them to buy? Typically the policies bought from India aren’t very helpful in the US if you actually need to use them. Thanks!

For severances & layoffs dt are based on performance (although disputes), what does PwC say in reference letter requests asking for reason for resignation and can employee be rehired in future?
Reached out to the head of Firm A (who I had a last-round interview with a few weeks ago) to say that I received an offer from Firm B but still want to work for them. The head said that I'm one of the top candidates and that they want to schedule more time to talk in detail tomorrow. What could this mean?
Working with an MNC from 2.5 years as Business Analyst (25), with B.tech in CSE & current CTC is 5.7, I see no growth in my job role bcz here the job role is completely of a non tech profile only MS office and my boss dont want me to grow either, I am a hardworking & dedicated person, should I go for MBA or switch organisation ? Switching is a major issue rightnow bcz BA profile in other organisations require major skillset tho I am willing to work on all of them and learn. Please help.
There's a lot of backstory to this but I can only type so much SO I've been with my company for 10.5 hours and just found out they've increased their base pay for starting employees $3-5/hr. I have received my annual 3-4% raises, only because I always make sure to ask for it, but nothing more. They didn't even acknowledge my 10 year anniversary with the company and it's a pretty small company (less than 100 employees). I feel I should get a $3-5/hr raise since the base pay was raised. Thoughts?
How do you teach a 4 yo when they start to lie? Today, my kid quickly put his lunch back into his box when his teachers turned around and lied to his teachers that he finished his food. They were even praising him on how quickly he finished his lunch today. And told us also that he finished all his food as well.
