Is financial engineering a thing?
Hi Everybody,
I'm currently working as an outsource in Rapid Metro as Technical Assistant/Civil. I earned a Master degree in Water Resource Engineer after B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Due to Covid 19 I took job back in Civil sector even though I have a masters degree in WRE. It's been almost 6 months of constant applying and rejection and still I'm nowhere close to a job in my dream branch which is the Water sector.Im hopeful that through this portal I may find an entry level position in water

I don’t have an answer for you but I want to just say a few years ago my wife was working in a warehouse too and now she’s made it to business intelligence analyst and might be promoted again soon. I can’t say how long it will take you but you absolutely can make it, just don’t give up.
Can you find a warehouse job at a larger company that offers college tuition assistance? It might take a while, but you could work and go to school to help advance your career that way.
Otherwise, is there something you can do to upgrade? If in a warehouse, can you drive a forklift? Do you have extra certifications for safety and other things?
You can also try to apply for office jobs that don’t require experience, but it’s a pretty tough market right now so I’m not sure that’s the best advice.
