I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? I'm management track because I really enjoy the people-side and big-picture side of the job. I'm less technically savvy (not being modest, just honest with myself), but I think I'm a good people and project leader. I think you have to just take stock of your talents and figuring out what parts of the job you're good at/make you feel fulfilled

This sounds just like me. I like to learn bits and pieces of so many little things, but I can't focus long enough to be a subject matter expert on much of anything. It makes me truly appreciate those co-workers who know so much technical knowledge.
I’m stuck in the middle because I’m good at both and like neither :(
