Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

It's a tough time for designers everywhere. I was laid off in October, was ghosted on several interviews, and ended up taking a job at a sign shop at half my salary to make ends meet. The job market is a shambles, but that's not your fault. Work on your portfolio, get back to doing what got you into design in the first place (even if it's just making fake logos for fun), and do what you have to survive.
I'm having a similar issue right now - for what it's worth I think the job market really is tough right now
Mid-weight designer is stronger on your CV than freelance. Shows your knowledge level.
Is your title on LinkedIn and resume “mid-weight designer” ???
Leave it as
Designer available for freelance or fulltime
Maybe some companies are skeptical if you would remain committed to fulltime as a freelancer
Go the entrepreneurial route
