At PWC can you bill from different states than your home office/state? Thinking of spending a few months roadtripping across the US/Puerto Rico

Hi all - looking for stats and help on what a St Consultant level III gets paid here in London? (My understanding is that levels are indicative of the cost of living of your home office and thus a higher level guarantees a higher pay). With 80K I feel like I’m being severely low-balled. I’m transferring from a US office.

I’m a noogler with a $1000 wfh stipend burning a hole in my pocket. itching for a 4K monitor and/or apple air pods max since I’m in a noisy area. Am I being reasonable? Or am I crazy?

I know I have to look for a job but I really don’t want to. Waiting it out until I can start a new job somewhere else that’s not my cluttered home office.

This week I started a listen through my entire record collection from front to back. I’ll be doing this on workdays when I am in my home office. Did it a few years ago. Collection has grown a lot since then. But I’m not doing comedy and spoken word this time. Too hard to work to those. I expect it to take 4-6 weeks at least. Depending on how many calls I have.

Silly question- but how do you work from home? I could do it in small amounts and with small projects with simple things. But I can’t do any type of excel work or testing on my small laptop. Have new analyst on the team with an MBA and project experience. After working with them for 2 months it’s apparent that there are 0 consulting skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) and they freeze up even on internal calls. They are young and coachable, and I offered to put time into that. However at a company event they made no effort to get to know the team and chose to stick to their familiar colleagues in their home office. I’d like to ask for a new resource but interested in feedback.

Design question for my work from home ladies - how did you decorate around a standing desk, large monitors, etc?

I find that with a large monitor there’s not so much I can put on the wall without having the monitor partially cover it - especially when the desk moves.

I don’t mind if the decor is covered when I’m using it standing, but want it to look nice when it’s lower down. Also find that with the monitor/laptop another square on the wall is too much of the same shape - any inspiration?
