Welp, I think my dream agency ghosted me. After my interview, I was told I’d hear back. It’s well past the date they mentioned and after a couple of follow-ups, just silence. NYC is the main hub of advertising in the US, a lot of people move there in order to establish themselves (groundbreaking insight, I know). For people with big ambitions who didn’t move to NYC (or LA I guess) early on, do you feel like it handicapped your ad career? Or alternatively do you regret moving to NYC as a mid level?

I’m pretty early in my career and just see way more opportunities in NYC, conflicted on how much moving would actually affect my career though

Is Miami Ad School NYC really that bad? It’s the better move for me from a location standpoint (would prefer to stay in NYC area) but it needs to be worth it. What’s the story there?
