I have no idea. Unless you have some independence restrictions I would think you could. But I have no way of knowing that.

Generally a broad ETF is going to be fine. And we have Independence Checkpoint for this very reason.

Out of curiosity, I tested this. Nike is an audit client. It’s the #5 holding in IYK. I ran it through and it’s permitted. What may matter is if you’re in audit or have provided services to that entity.

But again, you need to run this (and all securities you intend to buy) through Independence Checkpoint.

Thanks for your responses. My question isn't really about PwC audit independence.

E.g. if my spouse works for Microsoft, can I own an ETF that is 8% invested in Microsoft? My initial thought is if it's a long hold it's fine, but I haven't been able to find any clear guidance on Google.

We need more info to help OP

Yes. You can.

Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.

Thank you all.

Good traders tend to be flexible. I can make money in all kinds of markets, being a bull or a bear. Today was a headscratching day. We rallied a lot farther than we should have. We bounced in place's we shouldn't have. So, I have to ask myself? What the hell happened? While I made money today, I should have made lots more money. Remember the tip that markets don't count Pre-NY Mondays. If I decided to do my from last weeks low as opposed to today's low. I'm bullish. Additional info in reply post

Cross posted: Has anyone ever heard of this type of real estate private equity fund structure:

How do I resign?
I'm sort of new to my current job and I certainly don't like the work here and I've informed my manager about this earlier twice or even more.
But my manager has been very kind and supportive, whenever I ask for support and appreciates me too in scrum calls, but somehow I don't like the work.

If I'm getting a better opportunity, how do I resign and what do I tell my manager?

So my dilemma is I enjoy saving $ on rent (yes I know can’t have both) but the main reason for me moving back home is so that I can save and buy a house. On the flip side with how expensive houses are right now it’s hard to even buy. I’m in CA btw SoCal. If anyone has any suggestion of places to live for a 26 YO TIA!

Is there any realistic way where tipping in the US goes away and we start to be like other countries (e.g. Europe/Asia)? Raise the price of the food, pay servers a fair wage, no tips? Just a dream 😅

I'm guessing no because businesses will fight hard against this (customers subsidize wages) and certain servers benefit from tipping as well.

Only other thing I can think of is if everyone collectively decides not to ever tip again and it forces business to change. Won't happen though.
