Currently in MBA program - top 40 school. Hoping to apply the mba intern position at google. What are my chances? Wanting to break into data analytics or PM roles. Accounting background with beginner SQl, tableau, python experience ( pls be critical)

Looking for honest opinions: would you trust career advice from someone who doesn’t necessarily have a background in career coaching but has always been “that friend” that everyone calls for career advice, resumes, salary negotiations etc?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

Received offer from BCG for ECT AD role. Read numerous comments about ECT being not attractive compared to Generalists track. Also heard challenges about billability/utilization. Any views/guidance is appreciated.

Background - I am not super keen to become an equity partner and comfortable to stay on ECT track. Main reason to join will be opportunity to work with different clients, smart talented people and good brand. I may consider going back to industry after 3-5 years in ECT.

As a (class of 2020) second year whose several classmates from different groups are already thinking about leaving/going to other firms, should I explore other options too? Don’t know if they’re being dramatic about how bad it is or if I’m just drinking the koolaid in my group?

I'm a B.com graduate, worked in operations for 3.5 years and moved to a technical role within the same company because I have always been passionate about tech.
