I’m currently working for a Big4 firm and I’m considering an offer from BDO for a base increase of $35k-$65k more. The pay is a lot higher so I want to take it, but I’m worried about taking an offer from a firm with less prestige. Does BDO have a good reputation? How’s the culture and WLB at BDO?

529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.

I studied finance in undergrad and had a couple of internal audit internships. I only started a few month ago but I never saw myself doing IT Audit and I don’t like it thus far! Would I need to get a CPA in order to move into audit or something more finance/accounting oriented like FDD, Valuation, etc.? (Still need to get to 150, thinking of doing an online MAcc)
