Anyone out here?
I’ve worked in data analytics consulting for over 6 years. Recently got an offer from a Tech firm after over a year of interview prep. I’m nervous cuz analytics consulting is VERY different from a product based company, and my only prep is for data science interviews, not any actual on the job experience. Any tips on how to be strengthen my technical skill set? Airbnb
Hi, Need some suggestions on career switch. I'm currently working as a firmware developer in Radar SW (2yrs of experience), recently I got a opportunity to switch as pre/post silicon validation engineer at Qualcomm with good package and RSU's. I would like to switch. Any thoughts on my decision? Thanks.

What makes more money IT Audit or IT GRC?
Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

A pay bump of $35-$65K? Thats a $30K difference - that’s a rather large range. If it’s closer to $65K I would take it unless you know you’re on the fast track to partner as you’ll probably never make that much at your Big 4 until then. If it’s closer to $35K I’d pass. You could probably land a $35K pay bump just about anywhere at your level
Is it Risk Advisory Services (RAS) or another group you’d be joining? You’ll be going from large clients to middle market ones. However, that jump in base would be hard to pass on. Worst case you boomerang to your current firm should your experience not be what you thought
What is the pay???
Depends on what you want from life. If that 65k is more impt to you now - take it. Big 4 always rehire if you want to re join after 2-4 years. I doubt after getting that 65k - BDO will give you merit increases or bonuses that match what big 4 gives so eventually PwC pay will catch up in 2-3 years and it will surpass BDO. So it really depends on what you want. Personally I do not like switching jobs every couple of years and pwc pay works for my lifestyle now. So am staying put.
How far are you from partner? If you can see the light where you are, stay.
