Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Always start with a higher number because either:
A. They will accept and you are happy.
B. They will reject but counter with a lower number that is still probably good, and you are happy.
I think with 9 years XP you are currently under market value. If you enjoy your job and the company you work for, then I would still ask for an increase, but don't push for 100k+. It's not always about the money, there's mental health and personal care you need to account for. As it affects your work performance. I have 1yr. XP Project Administration, transferred out of Plumbing Service Tech of 5 years XP, for more money.
9 years of experience you better get to 100k now
Try finding out from a colleague you trust (a) what the median increase during regular times is at the firm and (b) whether there is an indication that they are willing to stretch based on inflation or other competitive factors. I’d say depending on your understanding of how much they like you, 3-6% would be my range.
I would be asking for $150k or start interviewing
I would ask for just above inflation rate. You need to get more then inflation or it will be a pay cut for the year.
