Yes! Each week! If energy allows (usually not), I try to meet a friend over mid-week dinner/drinks. Otherwise, binge watch or spa

It depends! For me at my current role, most days are a struggle to get through because I hate my job so much. :(

But at prior jobs, yes, I did get a midweek slump!

Yes, I struggle too. I think I need an entire new job at times.

Oh, I feel that completely. That midweek slump is so real and often a sign that we've been giving our energy away without realizing it.

My go-to is what I call a "power reclamation" break. I'll step away for just 2-3 minutes, close my eyes, take a deep breath, and consciously say, "I call all of my power back to myself now." It's a simple but potent reset that helps me shift from being a passenger on the week's ride to being the captain of my own ship again. You've got this! ✨

I’ve been seeing a very large range of income for dentists. What is a good/expected salary for a general dentist working an average 35 hours a week as an associate/contractor in the city ?

I have my annual review coming up and want to hear thoughts on what a reasonable raise expectation is. I report to the COO and currently make $94k + up to 10% annual bonus based on company hitting their revenue goal + I have 3000 stock options. I have 3 YOE in customer success but pivoted to a non technical program manager role at a series c tech startup last September. I have been getting consistently positive feedback at quarterly reviews. What raise should I aim for?

Took my first ever sick day today on account of my very poor and worsening mental health. Just could not bring myself to put in another 14 hour day with back to back meetings and constant activity. Felt very guilty but I honestly wish I could be more honest and actually share with my manager about why I took a day off.

Abused and isolated as a kid. I have terrible memory. Like I don’t really remember the past few months except in broad strokes and memories of my childhood are more non existent than existent.
