Hey guys! I’m looking to shift careers. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 7 years now. Before that I’ve worked in an office, retail, banking, sales and was a correctional officer. I have a BA in criminal justice that I have yet to use. I've been applying to jobs for months but every position wants at least 2yrs of experience in real estate transactions, usually way more. I'm at 1yr+ doing HOA/condo work but have had no opportunity to do real estate transactions like I expected. Seems like the only way to get the experience is to have nailed a big law gig right out of school and get put into that practice.

I feel under qualified at work but I also don’t know how much of it is in my head or in reality. I head a team and they seem to be happy… but I’m also personally not satisfied what we’re delivering is enough… so I have this weird mixed feeling of the stuff we’re doing not really being that stretching, but at the same time I feel out of my depth.
