Interviewing tip needed: I feel like a diversity hire at most of the companies I have worked for. A sentiment that is felt by other diverse colleagues at my job. When looking for a new job, what questions can I ask to find this out before I join? How can I assess whether a company truly values my skillset, pay equally, & promote equally? Whether there are implicit biases at play? My current job has 2 diverse bosses at senior level so I took that as a good sign but I was wrong.

Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
