Cringe or nah (pt1)?

Hello 🐟🎏
When will be the retention bonus will be paid if a candidate joined TCS in the middle of the financial year. I.e September'22... Will that be paid on next year's September'23 Month only after completing an year in TCS?
And will the Retention bonus will also be considered as taxable income of the the current year taxes(2022-23)?
Looking for valuable suggestions!!!

We are fully remote (permanently) and are losing our desk space. They are being converted for hoteling space. We are allowed to work from the office sometimes where it’s needed (partner meetings, big trainings, events, etc), but they don’t want us going to the office majority of the time just to work via our laptops. Use good judgement. If there’s a special reason / circumstances where the EA needs to be in the office most of the time, then that can be addressed with the PML/Manager and HR. Yes, this would apply to newly hired EAs.

Are the job postings on the KPMG site? I only saw 1 in DC but if they’re remote does it matter?
Just to clarify, KPMG really likes this hybrid model and are working for a long term model. I like the direction because we finally have flexibility and a path to build better culture, work-life balance, and morale in the new environment.
The writing is on the wall for EAs at the firm. I wouldn’t recommend wanting to go fully remote.
But what about community? Losing that over the past year hasn’t been good. We need to know and see our colleagues on some regular schedule.
I agree, and I'm a seasoned veteran. Some of my very best memories of working for my firm are the friendships I made in the formative years of my career. Lunches and Friday night group gatherings. Life-long friendships established before we all branched out on our own to build families. The 20 something's are missing out BIG time! I regret that for their sakes.
This is helpful! KPMG friends: at BCG we are told, be careful what you wish for as with fully remote, the next step is to be replaced by a team in another country - are people saying that at KPMG?
of course! little bobby g and her royal highness vicky a (our failed EA leaders) cannot wait to RIF the EA’s. Our ratio is going to 7:1, workload is impossible to manage, and they refuse to pay overtime.
bobby and vic have made it clear if we don’t like it, we aren’t “KPMG material”.
I wouldn’t advise applying at kpmg because leadership hates us and they want us to know that they hate us.
I’m also curious to know if newly hired EAs would also be allowed to be permanently remote.
Yes, all EAs are remote now and in future.
