Was reading an info article I received about "Reading Progress." I am copying the lead sentence from Monica Burn's June 21, 2021 article for you, but I really want to know if anyone is using this app. "Reading Progress is a new, free app built right into Microsoft Teams." It looks good to me on the surface for ALL teachers and is time efficient! Any thoughts?

Breastfeeding on a zoom call. Yay or nay? Was awkward in the call today. With webcam on. No one said anything but can tell from the faces the bewilderment. 5 people call. 3 women and 2 men. Kept up to point and wrapped the call quickly. I am one of the males btw.

I’m 36, earn 100k and I work maybe 30 hours a week, and I’m a shining star. It allows me to enjoy life without stress. I can linger around and see myself (slowly) climbing the ladder. But part of me wants to put in hard work and grow a lot in my career and earn more for a stable financial future, but it means I’ve got to work more and stress more and I’m worried I won’t get time to relax and enjoy my life as before. But also I’m worried I’ll slack off. Anyone going through this? Would I regret?

I really want to try for baby no. 2 soon but now if I would start it would put me in my busiest month of January when the baby would be due. I already went down in hours this past year because of the pandemic and my Team had to pick up the slack. I also was told yesterday that the team struggled when I went down in hours. I really want to start trying because I want my kids closer in age. My daughter turns 2 in July so I would like to start soon so they are 2.5-3 years apart. I don’t know

Anyone else experiencing texting fatigue during the pandemic? I love my friends, but after a full day on zoom calls the last thing I want to do is talk or text about the minutiae of everyday life. I feel like once a week or every couple of days is a happy medium for me. I know my friends mean well and they’re great, but the constant texting is wearing me out! Hi All, Did anyone know about the company Trane Technologies and know any insights about the company? Trane Technologies is manufacturing company of HVAC. Not sure about company work culture and other details. Now I got an offer from wipro for 18LPA(17 fixed + 1lakh variable). And there is a offer from Trane Technologies for 16LPA. So not sure to choose between 16LPA product based company or 18LPA service based company. Help me here.

Internally transferred into FDD as an audit senior 3. My coach and partner have indicated that I’m still eligible for promotion to manager based on years of experience. I’m trying to gauge the actual likelihood of this happening. Obviously firms bring in audit managers at the manager level with no FDD experience but would love to know if it’s possible/likely to be promoted to manager with less than a year of experience. I’d advise anyone in audit to transfer sooner rather than later!
