Because unlike the smaller firms, big 4 actually opens a lot of doors. Nothing wrong with being curious on where those doors lead. It's a stepping stone for most people.

Honestly… smart kid.
Some people specialize and realize they’re pigeonholed and can’t move anywhere. Some people have no idea what to do and then realize they’re underpaid compared to other groups. Helps to have knowledge. Hope money isnt the only thing directing them though! There are always reasons for higher pay…

You should always be thinking about your next move tbh

I think about it every day.

All kidding aside, like M1 said, it’s not for everyone, so there’s nothing wrong with coming in with an understanding of the best times to leave.

It's not everyone's goal to stay in Big4, a lot of people understand it's a stepping stone to the career you want eventually, but Big4 is where you get the experience to do so. It's just different strokes for different folks.

I joined TCS just 2.5months back and unfortunately my hr informed me that my bgc is negative. The reason is I didn't show them the past experience of 2 companies in which i was for a very short period time, and those 2 companies were MNC's. I have given them genuine reason that why i didn't mention it in my resume and also have given the experience letter of those 2 companies as a proof to TCS. Will they still ask me to resign?
