Starting a new job at Applied Materials on Monday as a Manufacturing Engineer III. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). Does anybody has tips or advices on what I should expect as a new hire and how I can set myself up for success? Thanks!

I'd keep it. You work very hard considering your role in the Marketplace. You didn't ask for the gift, it was freely given as a contribution of your services. Kindly say thank you, because refusing the gift would make the customer feel a way. ☺️
Go to your leader, advise them of the gift, and ask for authority to accept. If it’s of nominal value and not a gift card then it should be ok to accept. If it’s a gift card, ask that it be donated to a food bank or shelter.
Is it something you can share with the team?
Keep it
Keep it, sometimes it’s an insult not to take a gift in some cultures. At my old company they said no to that too but the catch was if they insisted then it was okay to accept but that’s me. I know when I give gifts I enjoy it and want to show appreciation. If I went through all that to decline me, I would be annoyed
Keep it. Who cares.
Keep it. The case is over and it’s not swaying you in any way there’s no harm in keeping it. I also doubt they will tell anyone at your firm they got you a gift so you’ll be fine
We have limited gifts here small value,$15.
